I am interested in the ways people connect with one another through common, universal experiences.
I create installations and 'exchange' artworks that people can connect with and have a positive reaction to. They are developed in order to stimulate either a sense of empathy in the participants or feel like an empathic experience. I am particularly interested in the philosophical notions of 'sense of place' and 'simulation'.
These multi-sensory works intersect place philosophy, installation, performance and participatory art.
