Makers Using Technology - Residency 3 | Gwneuthurwyr yn defnyddio Technoleg – Cyfnod Preswyl - 3 Beate Gegenwart

Beate Gegenwart's residency has come to an end and we are very pleased to show her final pieces.

Beate is known for her water jet and laser cut flat metal sculptures. She used this residency to experiment with 3D shapes has a progression from her previous work. She has found 3D printing allowed her to create shapes she would not be able to make by hand and hopes to incorporate 3D printing in her practice again in the future.

The residencies are being offered by Design Wales Forum, and have been funded by the Arts Council Wales through the lottery fund, and the National Centre for Product Design and Research.
